Yes. If you have a capture available, you must take it.
Can regular pieces move backward?
Not in a normal move, but they can when capturing.
What happens when my piece reaches the far side?
It is automatically promoted and becomes a king.
Can I capture multiple pieces in one turn?
Yes. You must continue capturing with the same piece until no more captures are possible.
What does the number next to each player name mean?
It is the player's ELO rating or score.
How do I find an opponent?
Create a room and wait, or join a room with one player waiting.
What is spectator mode?
It lets you watch ongoing matches without participating.
Can I leave an ongoing match?
Yes, but it is recorded as abandonment and may affect your rating.
I got disconnected during a match, what happened?
You have X minutes to reconnect; after that it counts as automatic abandonment.
Can I play against the computer for practice?
It depends on the mode enabled on the site and future updates.
Do I need an account to play?
It depends on site configuration. If optional, an account improves history and ranking.
How is my ranking calculated?
Using ELO: you gain or lose points based on result and opponent relative level.
Can I see my match history?
Yes, from your profile with detailed stats.
How do I report a player for bad behavior?

The game is slow or freezing, what should I do?
Check your connection, close other tabs, update browser, and clear cache.
I cannot move my pieces, why?
Check turn, move legality, mandatory captures, and internet connection.
